Andrew Gluck is a veteran journalist and the founder and CEO of Advisor Products Inc., a marketing and technology company serving 1,800 financial advisory firms.
Gluck founded Advisor Products in 1996. The company provides private-labeled websites, content, brochures, and creative services to independent advisors. Advisor Products offers Personal Client Portals and AdvisorVault, enabling advisory firms to provide secure personal websites to each of their clients.
Gluck began his career as a police-beat reporter at daily newspapers. In 1983, he began covering personal finance, ghost writing a newspaper column for the American Institute of CPAs. He returned to newspapers in 1986, covering Wall Street and writing a column for five years at The New York Daily News. From 1991 to 1996, Gluck covered investing and financial planning at Worth magazine, where he was a senior writer.
Since mid-1996, Gluck has been writing a monthly column, The Gluck Report, which is now published in Financial Advisor Magazine, where he serves as editor-at-large. The Gluck Report covers advisor technology, wealth management, and practice management. In 2009, Gluck launched Advisors4Advisors, a practice management website for advisors.
Gluck earned a BA in journalism at New York University, and an MIA from the School of International Affairs at Columbia University. He and his wife, Mindy, have two children, Alison, 19, and Jason, 17, and live in Long Island with their three dogs, Ozzie, Sophie, and Wally.
