What’s the difference between email newsletters?
If you subscribe to an email newsletter integrated with a website hosted by Advisor Products, you can use the email newsletter with up to 2500 — compared with just 1,500 on the standalone email newsletter.  In addition, the following features are not included the standalone email newsletter:
  • Integration with your calendar
  • Invitations for clients and prospects to fill in data for a retirement income plan
  • Measurements of client fear
  • Indicators of an individual’s financial planning needs
  • Option to poll your clients weekly
  • Optional link to log into AdvisorVault Client Portal
  • Send emails requesting clients upload wills, deeds, etc., to AdvisorVault

Printed newsletters cost much more than email newsletters and measuring their effectiveness is difficult, but the print medium remains important for reaching clients and prospects.

If a significant number of your cllients are in their 70s and 80s, then many will only hear from you if you mail them a newslettter or hand them it in-person. 

In addition, print newsletters have a shelf-life. They can sit in soneone's kitchen for weeks, keeping you in front of people.
